choosing

Today, I believe more than ever, God has a plan for me that is good. It is one of strength. It is one filled with choices, that I am given to determine. In these choices lie the ability to impact not only those around me, but to set things in motion for potentially thousands, millions. We cannot live as though there are any small choices. All the more we are to live under the expectancy that our choices do affect, and will effect.

So choose wisely every choice.

And we come to the reading for April 6th…

“…this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off…but the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. SEE I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU TODAY LIFE AND GOOD, death and evil….” And it is our choice who we will serve.

“For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children…that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; and may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation…”

And here is the strategy for choosing life: See. Remember. Obey. Clay.

Set your hope in God; let Him be the vision before you at all times. In doing this you will not be able to forget his works and testimony. When we are mindful of his testimony and works we will fear Him more than disobeying His commandments and we will remain malleable like clay and not stubborn and rigid from rebellion.

and tagging onto that with verse 9,10 in the psalm for today as well:

do not anger the Lord by arming yourself for battle-for a victory He has already assured you; by turning back in that day. He has issued the command to go in a begin to possess the land.

    ok thats all.
